James and Aimee are very grateful for the caring and supportive environments they grew up with. On their special day, they wanted to make a difference for those who are facing challenging times. The pair believe that all children deserve the same opportunity to reach their full potential, so James and Aimee were inspired to fundraise to help towards our vision of “A world of unlimited opportunity for all children”.

Leading up to their engagement party, James and Aimee posted a link on their Facebook event page for guests to make a donation. In lieu of gifts, James and Aimee raised an amazing amount, which contributes to our Love of Learning Program. Through their generosity, James and Aimee have helped to make a huge difference in foster children’s lives, while also raising awareness of what we do.

“Having lived together for 4 years, we have everything we need and are in the fortunate position to celebrate our marriage with our beautiful family and friends. Everyone was extremely generous and it was very special to share the total value fundraised as we raised a glass to the future,” James and Aimee shared.

Their guests were deeply moved by the couple's selflessness and the cause they chose to support. James and Aimee's story is a testament to how love and generosity can create a lasting impact.
