How to become a Pyjama Angel

  • Download and complete the forms below.

  • Contact your local co-ordinator to arrange an interview and bring the forms and photo ID with you.

  • Attend a training session.

  • When you are matched with a child, contact their Carer to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.

About The Pyjama Foundation Love of Learning® Program

The Pyjama Foundation Love of Learning Program® is a literacy-based mentoring program for children in care. Volunteers from the community – Pyjama Angels – are recruited, screened, trained and supported to help the children improve their literacy skills.

The program currently operates in Queensland, please visit our contacts page for a list of regions.
The program will be expanding to other areas of Queensland and to New South Wales in 2010.
