THE LONG ROAD PYJAMA WALK
THROW on your favourite set of PJ’s or onesies and put on a pair of walking shoes – the Pyjama Foundation’s Long Road Walk is coming to a location near you!
The Long Road pyjama walk is a series of 6-8km walks held in 4 different locations across Queensland and in Sydney. The aim of The Long Road Pyjama walk is to raise much-needed funds for Australia’s vulnerable children.
Participants are encouraged to build teams – so gather together your friends, family and work colleagues and dress up (or down) in your PJ’s/onesies. Participants/Teams can also start their own fundraising page to raise funds! Prizes will be offered to the largest groups and largest fundraisers.
The funds raised will allow The Pyjama Foundation help change the children’s life with learning, life skills and confidence, through our Love of Learning Program. We are expanding our programs nationally and therefore need to recruit, screen and train many more Pyjama Angels – this all takes funds!
Too many foster children have been through enough trauma in their life – many have faced abandonment – they have been down the long road, so it’s time we take the Long Road for them.
